The second phase of our scheme at the former Downe Hospital involved the refurbishment of the two original buildings, as well as the construction of new-build family homes. This provided us with 66 new homes, including 20 apartments specifically for active older people. Both listed buildings sit in prominent elevated positions and provide an important focus for the overall scheme.
