Top Regulatory Rating for Clanmil Posted on 28 August 2021

Clanmil has been awarded the highest possible rating by its regulator, the Department for Communities (DfC), for its operations in 2019/20.

In the recently published regulatory judgment the Department awarded Clanmil a rating of 1 – meets the requirements.

Clare McCarty, Group Chief Executive at Clanmil, welcomed the judgement. She said:
"We work really hard at Clanmil to provide great homes and services for people who need them, and we are delighted to have received the highest possible rating from the Department for our governance, financial management and customer standards. A top rating across all areas of our business is a reflection of the commitment and professionalism of every member of our team and they should feel proud of what we have achieved together."

DfC is the Regulatory Authority for registered housing associations in Northern Ireland. The Housing Regulation Branch within DfC undertakes this regulation activity on behalf of the Department and seeks to protect the interests of tenants, homeless people and others who use the services provided by registered housing associations.
