Money Advice

Being able to manage your money is more important than ever in the current financial environment.

Most people can’t manage their finances without borrowing at some stage in their life, whether it’s through a credit card, bank loan or borrowing from family and friends.

If your repayments have become unmanageable and you’re in financial difficulty, our Money Advice Team can help you.

We can advise about budgeting, maximising your income, claiming benefits, including help with form filling, and dealing with creditors you owe money to.

There are some immediate steps you can take now to help tackle the problem:

  • Create a budget and use it to work out what you can afford to pay
  • Contact your creditors and offer a repayment amount and set up a payment plan
  • Sort out priority debts. This type of debt has grave consequences if you don’t keep up with repayments. These could include eviction from your home or being sent to prison. You should use more of your available money to pay these debts off first.

If you need help managing your finances, contact the team today and make an appointment.
