People living in Clanmil homes in the Ormeau area gathered at Lower Ormeau Youth Club on Tuesday 18th August for a community listening event and family fun day organised by the housing association.

The event was the first of its kind to be held by Clanmil in Ormeau, following the success of similar listening events in Derry/Londonderry, North Belfast and Newtownards.

As well as giving tenants the opportunity to speak directly with Clanmil staff, the event brought neighbours together for an afternoon of family-friendly activities, helping to strengthen community connections. Customers of all ages had the chance to meet the Clanmil team, get to know their neighbours, enjoy great food and take part in a range of fun activities.

Highlights included a raffle, face painting, a bouncy castle and lots of treats for everyone to enjoy.

The Ormeau event gave customers the opportunity to connect, enjoy a family-friendly afternoon and speak directly with Clanmil staff about their experiences, helping to build stronger relationships and a greater sense of community.
