Storm Preparation and Safety Advice

  • Secure garden furniture
  • Vehicles- ensure vehicles are not parked under any trees or where debris may come down on them which may cause damage.
  • Emergency kit- phone fully charged, working torches in the event of a power cut.
  • Please ensure the safety of your pets.

  • We will deal with any immediate and emergency repair excluding roof works. (Which will be attended as soon as possible after the storm has passed.)
  • We will respond to any immediate and emergency repairs during work hours and Out Of Hours.
  • We will manage expectations of turnaround times. Be advised that contractors may be delaying in attending depending on the conditions of roads (flooding, fallen trees, etc) as we need to ensure the safety of the attending operatives.
  • What is an emergency repair? No heat and no hot water; Serious leaks and any electrical issues that have occurred because of said leak; Structural damage that is immediately life threatening. Attending operative will make safe any issues. If any parts are needed that they do not have, this will result in a follow-on repair being raised as the part will need to be ordered.

With floods on the increase in recent years and predictions that they will be more common in future, we want you to be prepared if the worst should happen.
