If you’re in credit, that’s great! Rent contributions are a great way to build up a financial buffer in your rent account.

Unfortunately, we’re not able to automatically reduce your rent payments based on Housing Perks contributions. But, if you would like to apply credit, or use it to reduce your direct debit, please get in touch and we’d be happy to help.

Please note: If you lower your direct debit, it is your responsibility to ensure that your rent payments cover your rent each week.

We don't encourage customers to withdraw money built up as credit in their rent account in most circumstances. Having a financial buffer is a great safety net for whatever life throws your way.

Our rent is charged weekly, and your tenancy agreement sates this must be advance. However, to support you, we allow you to pay your rent in line with your financial circumstances, that might mean you pay monthly.

To qualify for a rent refund, the credit on your account must more than the total rent charges in line with your payment frequency.

For example: If you pay four weekly, the credit on your rent account must be the equivalent to four weeks rent charges. Any credit over this amount can be refunded back to you.
