Residents at Glenshesk Court are enjoying a fresh new look following the completion of a £400,000 refurbishment programme delivered by Clanmil Housing. 

The investment included internal and external redecoration, new furnishings and finishes, emergency and communal lighting upgrades, replacement communal ceilings, installation of efficient smart electric radiators in communal areas, new windows, and new communal exit doors. 

Resident James McMichael welcomed the transformation, saying: 

"I really, really love it. It's so fresh and clean and bright, and all the colours are in keeping with each other. I'm an artist myself and I would say the colour selections are lovely and work very well. Even the pictures are great and the furnishings and finishings are lovely. It's a pleasure to sit here at night and just enjoy it. It was quite dated looking and this is such a wonderful change."
