Clanmil colleagues proudly took part in Belfast Pride on Saturday 26 July, joining fellow housing associations Choice, Radius and Woven to celebrate inclusion, equality and community.

The day began with a shared breakfast at our head office, bringing colleagues and their families from the four housing associations together before heading to Custom House Square to take their place on a joint Pride float. It was a great opportunity to strengthen partnerships, celebrate diversity and reaffirm our shared commitment to creating inclusive workplaces and communities.

This year's Belfast Pride parade, held under the theme 'Love in Every Colour', brought together around 8,000 participants, with thousands of supporters lining the streets of Belfast. One of the city's largest annual celebrations, Pride promotes equality, visibility and acceptance while celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community and the diversity that makes our society stronger.

At Clanmil, inclusion is part of who we are. Achieving the Bronze Diversity Mark reflects our commitment to creating a workplace where everyone feels respected, valued and able to be themselves. 

As a housing association, we believe that everyone deserves a home; a place where they feel safe, secure and accepted for who they are. Taking part in Belfast Pride was a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate our values and stand alongside our housing partners in support of equality and inclusion.

By celebrating Pride together, we are reinforcing our commitment to building not only great homes, but welcoming communities where everyone feels they belong.
